Progressive springs
Has anyone used the Progressive 11-1131 FL front spring kit? I was going to loose the "air bars" and go to a small reservoir in the dash/headlight area for the front forks and wanted a little better front suspension performance, and the front springs are 22 yars old. The forks are leaking, so I have to rebuild them anyhow.......what do you think. They also have a heavy duty spring kit, part #11-1536, since I am a mountain runner that might even be better.
I put the Progressive "Variable Rate" stock height front fork springs in my '91 FLHS and am very happy with them. I lost the air bag years ago when I changed my bent ( yeah crashed it
handlebars.
The new springs work great and the bike is not bottoming out nearly as easily now. Along with the Glide-Pro rear stabilizer mounts, Custom Cycle S.S. cleave bearings on inside of swingarm, and "new" used rear shocks my baby is riding and tracking very nicely now.

I used the Progressive springs and the Ricoh Intiminators. With that combination, you no longer need the stock air suspension/anti-dive.
I put the True Track kit on mine. With True Track, the fork update and Progressive shocks in back it handles so much better it's like a different bike.
