I have a 1986 flhtc Electra Glide Classic and 2 of the guages have burnt out lights. It's a small light only about 1/4 inch in diameter. Does anyone know where I can find some. The Harley shop sold me the wrong lights and the service manual does not list a number.
Same number on my 1990. They were a common bulb used in autos from that era, so should be available in a decent auto parts store. They are not Harley specific.
What is two digit part number for the indicator lights & the speedometer?
I have a #53 in the high beam and a #57 in the oil pressure & neutral, is this correct? I have one bulb in the green window above the high beam/neutral/oil pressure lights, but I think this was wishful thinking of the previous owner. What are the two green windows for any way? Just FYI, #'s 53, 55, & 57 are the same base, they just put out different amounts of light.
I still don't know what light is supposed to be in my speedo?
For lots of them yes. All you need is Ebay, or an auto light supplier, and the type of bulb. There can be a snag however, which is that some LED bulbs are much larger than the incandescent ones, so do not always fit into the space available. As an example I haven't found any H3 LEDs that will fit in my H-D fog lights yet.
