Default Screaming Eagle Mikuni???

Took off my right tank yesterday to access the inop turn signal module and noticed the words "Screaming Eagle" on the Mikuni top cover. I knew it was a Mikuni before, but didn't know it was Screaming Eagle. I purchased this bike used and don't know the history. Does anybody have any info about this combo? Might there be some more go-fast stuff on the inside?

Its an HSR42. At one point screamin eagle was selling them, same carb with a their logo on it. So if you need anything (jets, manuals, other info) just reference Mikuni HSR42 and youll find what you need. Sorry its not anything "more special" than a regular Mikuni, but its still a fantastic carb. Best throttle response youre gonna get....

Only real difference was when Harley stated selling the HSR42, they made Mikuni redesign the throttle cable bracket so it would accept the stock Harley throttle cables for the CV carb. Since then, Mikuni has carried this change over to all their HSR series carbs.

cams needs must be considered and if not, dog performance
of interest is compression needs and where the rpm range of power is placed.
then comes fine tuning with induction and exh.
you can play with the numbers by altering the timing of the cams
i run my cams retarded and push the peak upscale 500 rpm
