Default Well damn!!!!

I noticed today that my exhaust was loose so while tightening it I noticed that both base gaskets are leaking. DAMN.

On a brighter side it gives me motivation to rebuild the top end.

I was talking to a friend that has jugs and 4" pistons for an S&S.
I can have them but they will only fit on S&S cases and I would also have to get S&S heads.

I would end up around the 111 size.

Decisions decisions.

Will my OEM rocker boxes fit on S&S heads?

I don't want to spoil things, but I suspect the stud spacing on a 4" S&S cylinder is bigger than a stock Evo.

I called S&S and they said it wouldn't fit no way and no how.

At least I get to get serious about pistons and what/not for engine rebuild.
It is no longer a pipe dream!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I were going to use those jugs and pistons I would need the cases the crank the heads the rocker boxes.........

To hell with that I would buy a complete motor in that case.
Which I can't afford at this time.

As it stands I think I'll go with head work, pistons, and a 2 into 1 exhaust.

I can do that for a lot cheaper!!!!!!!!!!!!
