I have had Cobra slip-ons on my 2012 Heritage, sounded great. On my 2015 SGS I did Cobra 4" slip-ons and they sound about same as stock. You can look straight thru them, unlike Harley stock ones, but I'm surprised they have not much more sound than stock. What gives?

 

Change or remove the cat from your head pipe.

Yep, what he said. Also, the exhaust is exiting farther back and split on both sides, they will not sound as loud even de-catted.

 

Not sure how you come to the conclusion the Cobras wont sound as loud......they are way louder than stock especially with the cat removed. My neighbors will all testify to that.
