I just ordered a set of slipon's with the Mid Rumble baffles from American Custom. Hope they are not too loud. If anyone is running these how do you like them? I thought about going with Rush but I didn't like the matt material burning out and having to replace it. Thanks for any and all comments.
I put a set on my 2013 Heritage as well and like you, I went with the mid rumble. I am very happy with it. It's definitely louder than stock but not too much, at least for me.
Have them on my King with a decatted stock header and they sound great with no baffle. Very deep rumble and really comes alive at WOT, not crazy loud but slightly louder than the FM Jackpots. I also ordered the mid sound baffle and they sound good just not as deep a rumble as without. Mid baffle would be good for those who live in states with sound laws or if you want just slightly louder than stock.
I like them enough that I am thinking about them to replace the Rush 1.75's on wife's Heritage. They sound better on the bikes then in the sound clips on their web site.
A-C Exh also uses matting inside their slip-ons, at least there is in the one i got from them. I had a problem where it blew the matting out and it was almost a yr since i had bought it. with one 5 minute phone call, i had a new one sitting on my doorstep in two days at absolute zero charge for part or shipping.
I keep saying one, because i grafted a 10' road glide 2-1 exh onto my 07 FB and used one of their bomber mufflers.
stand up guys at A-C Exh with an excellent product.
