Default O² sensor plug

I have an '07 SG with PCIII and O²-sensor eliminators, and would like to install plugs in place of the sensors. Does anyone know the size or maybe a cross-reference for a plug? I went to Napa yesterday and they said I'd need an application, like a 2005 Chevy Suburban, and a size wouldn't help since they had no way to measure thread pitch or size.

A oil pan drain plug will work, or bosch makes a specific 02 plug. I just went through this a few weeks ago. The oil drain plug cost under $2.00 and is exactly the same as the bosch plug which costs around $10.00 from napa. The ony difference was that the oil plug came with a plastic o-ring that you take off. The thread is a m18-1.5 (double check). I got the oil drain plug from autozone. I got the bosch from napa...they only had 1 in stock.

Good luck

Chuck

Cut the pigtails off and put the sensor back in.

The one in my Rinehart was an M18 x 1.5 thread.

I temporarily used an O² sensor with the wires cut off. Any auto sensor will work. I got a bad one from the local auto shop for nothing to get me by till I got the chrome plug from Rinehart.
