Default Compatible Year OEM Exhaust for 2003 Road King EFI

I have a 2003 Anniversary Road King with Samson Cholo slip-ons installed. They're a bit too loud for my liking and would like to go back to factory OEM pipes.

Which model year(s) OEM exhausts are compatible with my 2003 RK?

1998 to 2016 will work as far as mufflers are concerned.Put your unwanted ones on C/L or Kijjijji, you will be either amused or disgusted by all the wannabe losers that struggle to come up with a few bucks or have to ask mommie first...

Not that this makes much difference, but you can go all the way back to '96 for mufflers that will fit! No need to pull up early and stop at '98!

Have a look at SuperTrapp Stout Slip-ons for 1995-2009, they are rated for sound compliance and are only a touch louder than stock but you will get much better performance than stock mufflers.
http://supertrapp.com/product_sections/cat.asp?CatID=85

or even quieter still would be the FatShots which come with the tunable disc technology. 86db's at idle is quieter than stock.....

Sweet, makes it that much easier to find some mufflers. Thanks!

Don't install a set from a year that had Cats installed in the mufflers. I'm not sure but I think the 07's and 08's had Cats. I'm sure someone will be along to give you (us) the correct years.

I believe some '07 and '08 models had cats, possibly not all models. As for pipes, up to '08 will fit, although some 07/08 have O2 ports. I have an '08 SuperTrapp system on my 1990 bike, with the ports blanked.

To be clear, OP, you are just talking about mufflers correct? In the first post you mentioned changing 'slip-ons' and there seems to be a bunch of info posted about head pipes...

That's because he wants "to go back to factory OEM pipes". He was ambiguous.
