He just left on his ‘16 CVO Road Glide. He has Cobra 4” Slip ons, and nothing else, and no tune. Damn it sounds good! IMHO one of the best sounding I have heard.

I recently received the Street Canons, Street Tuner, & K&N filter that I ordered for my new ‘17 EG Ultra Limited. But, I’m going to wait until I’m back from a 2 week, 5K mile trip that we leave for in 1 week...to put them on. I know it will sound anemic compared to my neighbors CVO, but it will be better than stock. And from experience putting the same setup on my ‘17 RoadKing I know I’ll lose some torque. But, I’m trying to stay warranty compliant for a while...maybe just a year.

 

I totally feel your pain... trying to remain warranty compliant with my '17 RGU. Its killing me but I threw on a set of Rush Big Louies, pulled the baffles and added DK Custom Thunder Torque Inserts. Didn't sound great when it was warm but now that it's in the 20's and 30's it sounds bad a*s!!! BTW, the TTI's totally restored my bottom end, regardless of temps... they're worth every penny!

 

I have the Cobra 909 on my stage 3 M8 and it sounds like a twin cam. Lots of compliments on sound and performance of the kit.
