Default power commander or fuelpak

Hi i'm new to theforum and I just bought my 1st Harley (2007 road king classic) I'm thinking of running the V/H true duals with the oval slipons and the screamin eagle stage-1 air filter. Can anyone tell me which fuel system to purchase and the pros and cons, power comander or V/H fuelpak, thanks

Both are good...and both have their draw backs. I suggest doing a search. Be prepared to do ALOT of reading.
If your not gonna go any further on your bike makes a difference too...

My buddy has an '05 Road king and just installed V & H straight shots with the power commander. He loves it, before you could barely hear his bike standing right next to it. Now you can hear him coming from three blocks away. He says as soon as he hooked the power commander to his bike he noticed how pissed off his bike has became. He is trying to get me to buy a power commander for mine. Because if you ever change your pipes or engine components it is as simple as hooking it up to your laptop and downloading the new maps. Where without it you have to take it to Harley and pay $50-$60 each time.

Your 07 Road King has a closed loop system with narrow band O2 sensors. If you plan on making modifications, look at the Thundermax or Daytona Twin Tec ECM.These unitsreplace the HD ecm rather than piggyback or "trick" the stock ecm to perform differently. They come with wide band O2 sensors that will allow better performance. Lastly, they allow you to adjust your AFR (air to fuel ratio) from the stock 14.7 to a richer setting at various RPMs. This feature will help reduce the heat generated by the 07s. You can read forever about how these Alpha-n based systems but suffice to say, they should perform better and allow you to make modifications without returning to youir dealer or making Dyno runs. That's a good thing. Just remember that the 07s are a different animal that previous models. Have fun.

I personally liked the power commander when I had it on my Street Bob.
