Default Thinking about new exhaust your thoughts?

2005 RK touring FI, 110 SE drop in stage 4 .Woods cams .610 lift mild build on an older 88TC that I've had for a while. I have the older Rinehart true Dual set up, but looking for something a little more quiet without loosing the HD sound. Looked at V&H and Bassani but haven't made up my mind yet. 2-1, 2-2, 2-1-2 not quite sure which way I'll go. Mine are a little too loud for long trips. Knowing the 2-1 pipes are the better all around pipe, but seems the only on I've heard is the V&H Pro pipe and Bassani. I did my search here and got some great info, just need some advise thanks!

I replaced the Rineharts on my CVO Road King with the CVO Mufflers that it had when it left the factory. Very pleased with the sound and performance.

Have a look at the Supertrapp Supermeg. It is a great, tunable 2-1 pipe that is quiet on the ears but makes good power...

Edit 113" motor not 110"..I've tried to narrow it down to a few choices. Love the performance gains of the 2-1's but don't really care for the sound quality. But like all of us you go either performance or sound, just wish their was a happy medium.

V&H Pro Pipe
V&H true dual with monster Oval
S&S Tuned headers w/ Crushers Trident, S&S MK45, S&S Grand Nationals
Supertrapp 2-1 Supermeg
Fuelmoto 2-1-2 header. See list for mufflers.

I'm very happy with my SuperMeg - the sound it makes is the product of the performance it gives! Just a thought.....

If you are considering a V&H true duel and like good performance, you my want to drop them from your possible candidates.

Is Fuel Moto telling you that the Road & Track is a quieter pipe? Let me know because that's the pipe I was considering based on my understanding that it has a louder, more aggressive sound...

I was told it was quieter than what I have, Rinehart true duals originals 3.5 muffler.Very loud, but at about 10.5 comp you get that. Fuel Moto said its louder than some 2-1 pipes but should offer somewhat quieter sound than what I have. Plus better performance.
