Oil leak, Best way to degrease engine 03 Road king?

Default Oil leak, Best way to degrease engine 03 Road king?

I just got this with 15k on it. Its developed a oil leak. The whole underside and sides of the oil panare wet along with the cross over. I'm getting it blown all over my rear wheel. now my rear brake is starting to squeal. When it sits on the jiffy stand, oil is leaking on the ground, its coming from the left rear of the pan dripping down to a small puddle. I want to try and degrease the underside of the bike and start it up and see ifI can find out where its leaking from. Should I use cleaner/degreaser or brake cleaner or what to clean it up? A rag is not working.The oilpan is powder coated so I don't want to spray on something that will ruin it. Any ideas are appreciated. Thank, Rick

Thanks for the replies.I was hoping to use something without water,to make it easier to clean up by putting cardboard underneath it.

I believe Simple Green is Biodegradable. You shouldn't have to worry about anything..

I'm more concerned about having to lay down and spray the water on the underneath of the bike. I have no way to lift it up. I dont want to get soaked with oily water while laying on the ground and I'm not sure that High pressure water is very good for the engine. I will go to harley and see if the can tell me if not guess I'll put it in for service. thanks Rick
