If I could fit on one comfortably I would have one. WITH drag pipes.

So, in line with the crazy prices the HD boutiques charge, does ANYBODY have or can recommend a GOOD indie tech in the Greenville/Upstate area of South Carolina?? We just moved and I'm looking for a shop that's reliable and prices stuff reasonably. PM me if you need to, but please let me know. There are a few dealerships around here, and some of them seem to have good reviews, but my bikes are all older than ten years, and we all know the dealers won't touch them....

I do a lot of my own work, but there are some things I can't address. TIA!!

A guy named “Racer” had a regular performance column in Hot Bike magazine and owned a shop in Simpsonville just south of Greenville.

But I moved away from there 37 years ago, so…

Barring that, check with Timms HD in Anderson just down hiway 85.

Yep I believe in the late 80s early 90s. I was getting a FXR thunder header shipped to the door for $369.00 without any heat shields.

The product was better then...american steel, heavy nickel plate, flawless chroming.

Thanks all for jumping on my grumpy train!
