Default Troublemakers installed!!

Wow, have to say I love these pipes. Sound great and look good (black on a train is always good). So far the best $187.00 I;ve ever spent.

FYI for anyone looking for Hooker pipes. This may be old news but apparently Holley/Hooker is getting out of MC exhaust business. All pipes on their website are 75% off. So versions of Troublemaker pipes are going for under $200. The good news in you can get these for a steal. The bad news is they only have a few variations left and its hard to say how warranties will work out. Of course I've never really heard of anyone needing to make an exhaust warranty claim, at least not for the bigger name systems like these.

I wanted a set of Troublemakers with scalloped cut ends similar to the VH Big Radius. The Wife has BR on her bike. I really like them but the pipes extend just below the frame and I have scrapped her bottom pipe a few times in corners. The Hooker pipes terminate higher; just about the rear exhaust bracket.

I got to give a big 'Hell yeah' to the OP...
I bought my 2009 night train on 5/19, and was very disappointed with the volume...
started researching pipes and found this forum/thread.
saved me a ton of green...

I also went with the troblemakers 'darksides', cut outward...
should be here in a day or two...

But now I have some questions. I am a newbie to H.D.'s...
What else do I need to get:Stage I intake/Tuner/Dyno/???
I have been to Dennis kirk/J&P/ and some others, there are a lot of intakes...!

~ do I need to look for one that says stage I, or is any aftermarket intake going to do ?
~ Is a PC III/??? going to be enough, or is a dyno still needed ?
~ can I go ahead and bolt up the pipes till I get the rest...?
