Default Reprogramming FI ?

I just installed a gently used set of Vance and Hines Straight shots on my FI '06 Heritage Softail Standard. It seems to run stronger and has no issues as of yet. Is it necessary to have the FI system remapped to accomodate the new pipes? I am a newbie to this forum and a first time HD owner...any info will be appreciated.

recommened. try power commander and good air filtration system (k&n, super sucker, aerowinder, etc.) then have it mapped on dyno. should increase power 18% - 25% which is a good return for the money.MOO (my opinion only)

Unless you've altered the air filter intake, you're fine.

Thanks for the info. It is all stock and my first HD bike. I changed all of the fluids when I got it and installed new factory brake pads and a new factory air cleaner. I do not want to cause any damage with the new pipes, but they sound pretty cool.
