Dyna fat cat on the way

Dyna fat cat on the way
Just scored a D&\\;D fatcat on ebay \\;with standard, and quiet baffles. Had a thunderheader before, took it off when my pant leg just about caught fire. It was a roll on king, made 93hp / 104tq with Crane 290s and thundercooker but soft in the upper range. Currently running black shortshot staggereds with Andrews 54s and made 88hp / 100tq, but its weak in the roll ons. Everyone seems to swear by the D&\\;D, what should I expect with a good tune, and which baffle?
I think the next step is a JET hv 51mm throttle body and stg II airstack.

RE: Dyna fat cat on the way
I had the fat cat (standard baffle), and a thunderheader on my 06 dyna 95 build. \\; Fat cat made 100hp &\\; 104 torque, and the thunderheader made 101hp &\\; 108 torque. \\; Both had similar characteristics after 3500 rpm's, but between 2000 &\\; 3500 the thunderheader kicked it's ***, and the thunderheader sounded so much better. \\; That's my opinion, and you'll find different examples with different builds, but this was a comparisson I was wanting to try for a while, and the results are no BS! \\; \\; \\;

RE: Dyna fat cat on the way
Hope that didn't sound negative against the fat cat, cause I did really like it aswell (great looking, nice sound, good fit, and respectable power). \\; I just have a woody for the thunderheader sound, and it just so happens that it made better power on my build. \\;
