Fat Cat Baffle question
Hi Folks
I am swapping out my Bassani duals and going with D and D 2-1 fat cats.
I have on 04 RG with a 103 and andrew 37 cams.
I have to decide on the baffle,,,,Quiet, or Louvered (sp) or Big Bore
I want the lowest deepest sound and want it to pull like a train.
Not to worried about top end
Thanks

Go ahead and buy the FatCat with quiet baffle. If you don't like it, I've got a louvered (standard) baffle with less than 300 miles on it that's in new condition. Would be glad to swap with you.

I went with the quiet baffle with the Fat Cat, after reading about some riders switching from the regular baffle to the quiet, mostly for the deeper, quieter sound.
The quiet baffle is far from quiet, just quieter then the regular baffle.
The quiet baffle will give you a bit better torque at low and mid rpm's, where you spend most of your riding time. The regular baffle will put out a bit more power at WOT.
D&D told me they don't recommend the performance baffle for the 103" or 110" engine. You can call them and ask them any questions you have.
It will be costly, to switch, if you order the wrong baffle
