About to pull the pin on the D&D fat cat. Question the wrapped baffle is the quite baffle the louvered are the medium and the big bore are the loud. Just want to confirm before I buy
Yes. The big bore is for a modified engine. The louvered baffle is louder than the wrapped baffle but I think I get better performance with th wrapped baffle and it's not all that quiet when you get on it.
I had a louvered baffle on a 2:1 D&D.......sounded like a small block chevy!
The louvered baffle performs better because of the back pressure....so I'm told....I was very happy with the one I had on my old FLTR 96" Stage 1....nice deep, and loud when you get on it, but not obnoxious....
Don't know about the wrapped....I heard some D&Ds that sounded 'tinny' but the louvered definitely did not. I think the Boarzilla are for 107+ motors.....You should email D&D.....they are in Fort Worth and very responsive....
Thanks guys. D&D said if I change to an Andrews cam (which I am) then the louvered is the pipe just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting to loud but also don't want quite
