RE: Ordering D&D Fat Cat 2-1 Question
I didn't realize that there were three options for baffles. I had a Fat Cat put on when I had the 103 built. Mine is supposed to be the quiet baffle. So, unless you really want loud, jmho, do not get the performance baffle. I really dig mine, but I wouldn't want it to be any louder.

RE: Ordering D&D Fat Cat 2-1 Question
The quiet baffle gives you the earliest torque curve, followed by the standard, then the big bore baffle. If you've got a bigger engine, the big bore gives more horsepower, same high torque, but the torque kicks in at about 2700. But usually, a bigger engine has a more aggressive cam which
will start the torque curve earlier anyway. I had the standard baffle on for about four seconds, shut the engine off, and exchanged the entire muffler at D&D for thirty bucks. The standard baffle was just way too quiet. Couldn't begin to imagine how quiet the quiet baffle is. You're ridinga Harley. It should sound like one. The big bore baffles are real popular here in Dallas.
