Default True Duals or 2 into 1?

I have an 06, FLHRCI, Road King Classic.
I am considering either true duals or 2 into 1.

I'm leaning towards 2 into 1 because I read somewhere that that a 2 into 1 exhaust is more efficient and also because I like the routing of the pipes that keep the heat away from the passenger. The downside of 2 into 1 is I'm not sure I will like the appearance.

True duals would only eliminate "half the problem" (passenger right leg heat) because it eliminates the stock split exhaust pipe to the right side. The left side remains the same.

I am considering Cobra's pipes because I already have an FI2000R.

Any opinions?

2 into 1 will give you better low end response. Heat issues are minimal with a good tune.

I would not recommend a Cobra Pipe, go with a D&D Fatcat, Rinehart or Supertrapp depending on what your preference is.
