Default Spitting/Stalling when cold - new problem

My bike has run great for the first 4k miles.
It's now almost 5 months old with 4400 miles.

For about the last 400 miles (2 tanks of gas), it spits then stalls almost every time i take off after starting the motor. I have to tach it high and slip the clutch when leaving from a stop until about the first 5miles or so. After stalling, it wont start for about 30-45 seconds just cranks, smells flooded.

Anyhow, I intend to take it to the dealer, but I thought it might just be bad gas. I tried a different station than the normal one I use.
No change. Once warmed up, it runs fine.

Of course it sounds like the injector problem, but since it ran fine for 4k miles does this make sense? Anything I should check before losing my commute vehicle for a couple days?

Thanks,

Oh, it's still stock drivetrain down to the factory pipes.

Sounds like those 8 degree injectors everyone is having problems with. Yours just took a little longer to go bad. The problem of stalling and hard starting when cold is typical of those injectors.............BG
