hsr42 or 45? can a builder/tuner help?

Default hsr42 or 45? can a builder/tuner help?

hi friends. my new motor is done and im runnin thru break in. ill be stepping up the carb at this time. my question is a hsr42 or 45?
the bike is 2004 electra glide.
zippers 95 ci pistons 9.4CR
zippers 1.9 heads
575 redshift cams
dynatech2 ignition

is the 45 too big for my engine size?

Hi Larry. I would use the 42. The reason is, bigger carbs are more suited to lighter bikes and higher RPM's, smaller carbs will give you more velocity and better fuel atomization. Let me know what you want for your carb, I need one. Thanks, TJ

thanks dr jones for your answer. i was thinking the 42 but was kinda on the fence. the cv on the bike is nice now and just dyno tuned and jetted nice by ACL in glen burnie md. i got a couple weeks of break in left then its coming off and ill let you know if you still need it. thanks alot
