Hi Guys,
(Please don't hate me because) I'm riding a klr 650 Tengai, 1990 model.
I have a surging problem above 3,000 rpm, inside the carburetor there's a worn needle and oval jet, so I'd like to change them.
The Carburetor is Kehin CVK40.
Harley parts are dirty cheap when compared to Kawasaki. So I'm trying to figure out the correct harely part numbers from the ones that I got.
Needle Jet is #6. Kawasaki number 16009-1537, they ask for 30$ for it.
Jet Needle is N74C. Kawasaki number 16017-1254, they ask for 40$ for it.

(This can be due to the fact that the 1st quoted part numbers are from my service manual, in Australia. It's the same parts)

this might be a good place to look. I have a chart some where that has keihin needle measurements I will try and find it.
