I can't speak for staggards but I can tell you I was very unimpressed by the Big Shot Shorts... Absolutely aweful low end performance.. Which I found out later is the standard for short drag pipes and why was I bitching.. so I swapped out quickly.
The staggered's have a crossover as do the longs now I think.. So I'll imagine their performance will be far better than the shorts.. Closer to the low end response of stocks which isn't bad.. They just can't breath when you get up into the RPMs.
I really liked the longshots I had on my older softail for performance AND sound.. Big deep rumble but not too loud.. They were a little different design as they had a separate muffler unit attached to headers, rather than a single pipe. The bigshot longs, may or may not perform as well but I'll bet the longer pipe will have a deeper tone than the shorter staggered.
Sticking with my Rineharts at present! [8D] Best $250 I ever spent on ebay!
