Default SE Pro Heavy Breather Intake

Is anyone using this product. I think its part# 29562-05. It looks cool the way it faces forward, but is it just for looks or does it flow that much more air than the SE stage 1 filter with football cover????

I installed one this year. The stock engine can't breath enough to actually need that much breather, but it looks cool. I especially like the built in breather circuit. On my fxstc my leg may at times touch the elbow when braking, not enough to cause problems. You will be able to hear the engine sucking as you lay into the throttle. At times when you shut the engine off you may also hear a squeak out of the breather. This is normal and harmless. Good fit and quality.

I installed one on my '07 RG when I did the 103" BB a month ago. I think that the Breather looks great and the real reason I installed it was , now I'm able to bring my right leg in and not have to rest it on the air cleaner cover.

Performance wise seems fine, I have not tried any other A/C since my build. I have a Doherty A/C also.

I put the SE Heavy Breather on my scooter last summer. I noticed a slightly quicker throttle response (could've been all in my head, but I think it was real). I've had no problems, and really like it. When I bought it, one of the parts guys referred to it as "$300 of looks pretty, until you big bore it."

on a modified engine(cams, heads, bigbore, etc) you will actually get more power using this a/c.
i've noticed this filter works better with larger throttle bodies.

I was asking the same question few months back, somebody on here pm'd me this long formula for it. Yes, it greatly improve over your stock a/c but compareda regular stage 1 cleaner not really, something about wind velocity compared to throttle body pressure you'd hafta be doing like over 140 mph to actually get a "ram" air effect out of it. Again, im just restating something told to me, but it is a cool lookin a/c.
