Hello everyone,

I have an 06 Softail Deluxe, I recently had Vance and Hines Long shots installed on my bike and I had it tuned with a Screaming Eagle EFI Super Tuner. I want the bike to be louder so I was thinking about taking out the baffles. If I take out the baffles will I need the bike to be retuned again? I do not want to damage my engine by running the bike without baffles.

It'll run like ****. They need back pressure. Sound will be good performance will suck

 

X2.. I just tried a set of big shots on my bike, and without the baffles it lost all bottom end power, I thought it sounded like chit to.. Put my fatcat back on

 

Thanks! It did sound awesome , it did loose some low end torque. If I leave it like that will it damage anything ?
