just a heads up if anyone is looking for the K&N HD 0800 air filter. the cheapest i was able to locate online was about 50 bucks, plus shipping. just on a whim, stopped by autozone with the K&N number. they had to special order it for me, got it by 3:00 pm next day. total cost, including our outrageous 11-1/2% here: 45 and some change.

there are so many threads concerning the k&n filter, that i wasn't sure where to put this, sorry if its redundant.

 

11 and 1/2%!! Dang!! That is pretty bad. I did the same thing and ordered the K&N at the local Autozone. The parts guy took a little work b/c he didn't think they had motorcycle filters but luckily I knew the parts number and proded him along until he got it ordered. Seems like I paid right about $40.
