I have a 1945 WL. It has a Auto Advance timer. Can someone identify which timer it is? It is the one with the ‘C’ clip on the cam. Also what points are used in this setup? Who is the supplier of them?
Thanks! John
the points and condenser are 1970 up cone shovel - and the ones you have a china junk
USA pieces are available BUT another issue is in the mix
the communist distributor in the picture i have never seen one that you wont have issues starting — Y — the advance in it retards the timing way too much
if you advance it by turning it — it will kick back on your ankle first - and then put too much timing in the engine that will cause engine issues
gotta love the commie bastards - OH thats right — they also sell all the parts to fix what that distributor will destroy
If you use the original type dizzy it will run another 75 years
