Default Purpose of posting Spam?

What is the purpose of posting this Koren Spam? Why would this Korean moron post this crap? If I could ever read what it is I would never support any company who spams trying to sell you stuff through that method. My business e-Mail gets unwanted spam & everyday I have to black list multiple e-Mails so I can imagine what problems the highly skilled & paid persons that have to delete these posts/threads from a robo spammer like this latest attack. It seams every day HDF must devote more effort and resources to keep this vermin at bay. I just do not see the point as it costs money to do these attacks with absolutely no financial gain to the perpetrators. Just an annoyance and a negative action, What purpose is there for these who use up good air here on earth.

I make it a habit of coping down all spammers addresses and companies who employ spammers than sign up that real companies e-Mail address to an inquire to other spammers asking for information. Maybe it might help. No, I do not want a damned thing from the unsolicited Chinese companies offering their services.

My hopes and best wishes to the staff of HDF who have to deal with figuring out how to defeat this worthless Koren threat. Maybe they are selling knock-off HD's for 1/2 price using back door original HD OEM parts manufactured in China? I do not read Koren however.

Rant done.

The spammer is punting a Korean Blackjack Casino.

I'm not sure why HDF don't ban the complete IP address range.

Think of it as hundreds of thousands of bathroom stalls all at once.

Spamming is a cheap way to reach a lot of people. Spam to millions, probably get thousands of replies. Not unlike that Nigerian Prince scam- who in their right mind would fall for it, yet it keeps going year after year. Take a couple people here and there for a couple thousand bucks. Lots of money for people living in some of these hacker frienedly countries.

Because he can.
To a "geek" it's fun, they get a kick out of it.
How do you figure it costs money?
Sure I had to buy a computer, and I pay my Internet access fee, but I'm sitting here picking away at this keyboard for free.

It's simple, some hacker enjoys hacking.
The moron is someone who's trying to figure out why he's doing it.

yep, it's essentially the "sucker born every minute" theory. the internet makes it easier to find them.

Well, so much for the "People are nice in Minnesota theory".
I am curious if it is random spam or someone is harassing HDF specifically. Guess I'm a moron too.
