Robb, I've got my old S5 at the house. I'll reset it tonight and connect it to wifi only, browse to HDF and see what transpires.

I'll add this also as it might lend some insight as to a commonality. Same thing happened on another site that is owned by IB, chryslerforum.com.

If you get a pop up, or a browser redirect happen to you, can you please document the following for me in here?

Describe what you were doing here on HDF before the popup/hijack happened. Screenshot of the page where it happened that includes the URL. If you were put into a new browser window, please close that and send us a screenshot of the page that *sent* you to the new window and paste that in here for me.

Thanks for your help and our apologies for the inconvenience.

How do we send you the screen shot?

Ron750 and I have already attached what you requested earlier in this thread.

Well, that certainly helps to narrow it down. If it's happening on two of our sites, it pretty much has to be a nefarious ad unit

Thank you for that, but what I need is the URL and screenshot of the HDF page that triggered those other windows to pop up.

cheers,
robb

Robb, how is it possible to take a screenshot of the page that caused the ads to pop up? When the ads pop up I am unable to get away from them, I cannot back out and go to the previous page. The three I listed originated while trying to read your post on this thread that I replied to. I frequent the Softail and classified sections, it happens on both. Also happens while trying to read and write PM's or even when I hit the drop down menu.
I can build a small block Chevy (or twin cam Harley &#128514 blindfolded but am not the best with computers or phones. Hopefully someone will know how to acquire the info you requested and post it here.

Here is a link to a page I was directed to...
http://www.samphico.top/click/?cid=5...80&pathid=8039
I was looking at this post and clicked on the first photo bucket link.

It took me to these two pages

Hope this helps

Second page

While scrolling through the Softail forum home page I got directed here:

That helps a lot, thank you for taking the time to assist!

The more we investigate, the more we're convinced this is an 'advertiser gone wild', but due to their creativity in deploying these nefarious ads, we're having a difficult time isolating which ad unit/provider. Our ad trafficking team will be focused on this today.

cheers,
robb
