I uploaded a new 98x98 pixel profile picture and saved it to my profile. Whenever I post a new message now, it still shows my old profile picture, however when I click on my profile under "UserCP", it shows the newly uploaded picture. What am I doing wrong?

Let me guess ... Maybe you didn't click of "Save Changes" ??

 

well... I guess if I didn't click "save" the new picture wouldn't show up when I go to my profile? But it does, so wondering why... any help appreciated

 

I'm not trying to be a smart a$$ ... at the bottom of the page is a "save changes" is what I was referring to ... Just trying to help

 

Over the years that I have been here what Larry was talking about was a common mistake that many over looked, I have even done it myself. Saving a pic might be one thing but also, where it says " save changes" might be something else. I probably would have told you the same thing that Larry said. If it has helped others.

 

Looks ok to me. You have two images, one for your avatar, that shows up with each of your posts, and one for your profile. I think you might be confusing the two.
