Depending on the browser you are using there is an add on like adblocker to stop those pesky ads...

They shouldn't be blocking your screen, it should squeeze in on the side, narrowing your screen. Does it not?

Same problem here. I've never minded the ads, but today I notice they're covering some of the forum features.

Advertising keeps this forum going. It only takes up a small strip down the right side of my screen and doesn't interfere with reading or posting. I occasionally spot something there that will catch my interest too. I can live with the ads and will support one of the sponsors whenever I can.

Default I Fixed It

I fixed it. I clicked on the arrow in the upper right corner of the ad and clicked on preferences. It directed me to a web page to opt out of getting advertising - this time from 13 different companies. For now the ads are gone. PITA!

I TAKE THAT BACK - THEY'RE BACK AGAIN!

It must have just been a glitch. Sometimes a setting gets changed and until we catch it (usually from reports from you guys) it goes unnoticed. I see it's working fine now. The strange thing is that it seemed to only affect those using Internet Explorer.
