Yeah if I see a vw ad again. Christ its not even a harley Ad

 

LOL, as I was about to hit the reply button to type this out saying that I use the iPad for most of my forum browsing and that I have been finding these popups highly annoying, what happens? The popup ad pops up LOL.

I don't mind ads on the site. I DO mind them popping up and my having to actually interact with them to get them to go away before I can continue my browsing of the site!

 

No pop ups on my Droid, yet...

Seems I read that someone suggested turning off the flash player to avoid them on this site and turning it back on again before going onto other sites?

 

I absolutely despise all pop up ads, and I'm not happy about them showing up on my ipad from this forum. They need to be cancelled. I have made it a point to never, ever purchase items advertised by pop up ads.

 

I just posted my gripe about pop ups on the ipad. Now I'm on my regular computer, and that crappy VW ad pops just now. Seriously?
And by the way, my wife is buying a new car, and VW Passat was one to consider. Not now!

 

Has the site manager responded yet? Do we need to bombard him with complaints? This sucks for IPads, the ad pops up on just about every new page.

 

driving me nuts and I won't be driving one of those cars in the pop up ad!!!

 

iPad and iPhone don't do Flash.

 

I just checked the settings in Safari on my iPad and Block Pop-ups is set to ON, yet the VW pop-up adds are driving me nuts.

 

In the Kontera ad, it shows a link to click to disable. I just tried it and will see if it works and post back.

Note: Says refreshing or deleting cookies will re-activate the ads.
