Default Brake bleeding made easy...

I couldn't believe it. I tried bleeding the old fashion way..Very messy. Then I tried using a syringe. No luck there.

I went over to Autozone and purchased the MityVac vacuum pump for $30.00Unbelieveable. I was done in less than 15 minutes on both calipers.

What kind of special attachments come with it (if any)? What were the steps? Thanks.

For $30 it comes with everything you need. The hand vacuum pump, clear tubes, reservoir.

1. remove the master cylinder reservoir cap and fill reservoir.
2. attach the clear connection hose tubes to brake bleeding fitting.
3. pump the hand vacuum pump several times to create a vacuum.
4. crack the bleeder valve with a box wrench, extracting fluid into reservoir.
5. stop and add fluid when master cylinder begins to get low.
6 do not allow air to enter the line

You should be able to see all the air bubbles come out from the bleeder. Once you you see a straight flow of fluid close the bleeder valve.

speed bleeder brake nipples, they have a check valve, you fill the master cyl, open the valve, then start pumping slowly, no need to close bleeder each stroke, the check valve does it for you, walla, no extra tools required.

I put the 'speeds' on my bike and they worked great, no mess.

I'm putting on forward extension plates and replacing the brake line, therefore draining all the fluid. If I buy one of the (which I plan on) how should I first get the brake fluid in there? I understand this tool can also push as well as pull. If I just initially pour brake fluid in the reservoir should I have the bleeder valve open to allow it to pour in?

I ain't much of a wrench, so forgive my stupidity here....When I replaced the rear brakes, I didn't have to bleed em, but the service manual says you need to when replacing the fronts.

There are articles on condensation, do a search to read more.

But basically the more heat the more water in the brakes - bad joo-joo.

Anytime I screw with the brakes I bleed them (cars, bikes, trucks....) its just better to KNOW the fluid is uncontaminated and exactly what is specified.
