Rear Brake Caliper Piston Sticking

Rear Brake Caliper Piston Sticking
I ride an 04 Roadster 1200xlr. My rear brake on my bike was sticking. If I pumped the brake hard before riding, I would notice I would gain more rear stopping power. I decided to bleed the rear brake line, and clean the piston and inside of caliper without removing. With everything assembled, I do not have any rear brake. I have spent awhile googling, and figured I would ask.
When looking at the middle of the caliper, I see the piston is barely compressed, and the brake pad has a lot of room, so it will move around on the pin. I prefer to work on my vehicles myself, although it comes with some obstacles since I'm a novice mechanic.
Thanks in advance

I'm rebuilding my F/R calipers as I type. I just finished my rear (had to pull axle) and am now onto the fronts. My caliper pistons on my 03 SERK were TOTALLY SEIZED and no doubt my fronts are also. I'm making a YouTube video on rebuilding the calipers but Shane Conley on YouTube has GREAT videos also. GL.

Either you bled the brakes wrong or you simply need to pump the brake lever slowly to extend the caliper piston. One thing to note is that seems like a lot of play between the rotor and pads. it might be OK for a sporty but the bigger bikes don't have that clearance.. They don't use a floating caliper like the sporties do tho.
