Default Brake Pad securing bolts HELP

Hi
I'm in the uk and need to replace my rear brake pads (2001 wideglide) , I can't get a socket (star or normal) to fit the two small star/torx securing bolts as they are USA sizes. A star socket E8 is to small and the E10 to big.
What socket is the right size for the job and where can I get one?
I'd appreciate any help.
Cheers

The small retaining rods are 1/4" 12 point and the larger bolts are 10mm 12 point. Remember to install the new pads with the round edge to the rear of the bike.
