Default replacing brake pads

Does anyone know what size sockets I need to remove caliper and brake pad pins bolts. I have tryed the sockets I have but nothing seems to work. Are they a special socket or need twelve point sockets?

My '08 uses a 10mm 12 pt socket. I think my earler bikes used a 1/4" 12 pt socket.

I just replaced mine last week.&nbsp\\; The pad pins are 1/4" 12-point.&nbsp\\; The caliper's are 10mm 12-point.&nbsp\\; I had to stop at a dozen sites before I found one in quarter inch.&nbsp\\; Good luck!

yes, 1/4 in 12 pt. Only HD could do that one on purpose.
