replacing brake pads
More accurately, what you want to do is clean the caliper pistons with a good brake cleaner as explained in this link from Lyndall's website:

 \\;
The HD pads create a lot of pad dust that can interfere with the smooth operation of the caliper pistons if not periodically cleaned out\\; cleaning the pistons is excellent advice, but not mentioned in the HD service manual.
 \\;
Also, you can buy a 1/4" combination wrech and use the box end as it's 12 pt.that's what I use without difficulty1/4" 12 pt socket can be hard to find.

thanks to all for your help with my brakes. I did get out and buy a 10 mm and 1/4" 12 point sockets, it worked well. I did also clean my calipers and reinstall with the Lyndall z+ pads. I cant beleave the differants. Its like night and day for the good. I had 16,000 mile on HD pads with still lots of pad left. But these Lyndall pads are the way to go.
Thanks again for all your help.
