Can I use master cylinder from a 03 sporty Custom for a 06 Sporty Custom
Hi Folks,
I have a issue. I changed my grips on my 2006 Sporty Custom and noticed my idle cable was frayed. What I am looking to do is change all my cables and housing, lever ect to chrome. Therefor I also want to change all my cables to braided. I want to buy a set that fits a 03 because I like it. Now I know they changed the brake master cylinder in 04+, my question is can I still use the one that will fit the 03 if I simply just change the brake cable line to the correct size (if anyone could tell me what size)? Any help would be great.
Also is it difficult to change the brake line and clutch cable. I am somewhat mechanically inclined.
