Default Continental Milestones?

I have been looking at alternative tires for my Ultra. I like the Dunlop's, but would like to expand my possibilities and maybe discover a better replacement.
I was looking at the various manufacturers offerings in the 130/90-16 in belted tires and found the Conti Milestones. They have the same weight rating as the stock Dunlops, and usually run a little bit cheaper. Has anyone tried these tires and could give some personal reflection on them? I'm very interested in these tires and like the tread design.

I really wish that Bridgestone would make a tire for our touring bikes bikes with a comparable weight rating in a belted tire. I've used Sones on my last bike and really loved the ride and handling I got from them.

I ran one set and the rear was wore out completely in 7,000 miles...and never really gave me the confident feeling I have come to expect of my tires. I normally get about 9,000 miles out of my tires. I replaced with the Michelin Commanders and so far they are wearing superbly and 'feel' very secure in all conditions. I plan to buy another set of Michelins.

Go with the Conti-Tour.....

I ran them on my bagger, and had the Wear of a Dunlop, and the Wet Traction of a Metzler... Got just shy of 9.5K out of the rear..

I was very pleased with the ride....

I had the Contis on mine. Got about 11k miles from the rear. Just didn't seem to have the grip of the Metzlers. Ride was ok but nothing outstanding. No problems with them just my preference is the Metzlers.
