Default engine only starts in neutral

I have a 2008 road king classic. When i first purchase the bike if i was on the road and i stall i was able to start the engine in any gear by just pulling the clutch, then i changed my handlebars and after that if i ever stall i have to look for neutral for the bike to start. The bike only starts in neutral now. What do you guys think my problem is? is it something i did on the handlebar? Please Help!!!!!

If it has one it sounds like a problem with the clutch safety switch that is behind the clutch lever. Did you wire it back up when you changed out the bars? If it has one you can see it just by looking right on the backside of the lever. Double check your install to make sure the wires are not cut and that they are plugged in completely.
