I purchased an Ultima 58mm inverted front end and it looks sick. I am very happy with it, but still working through the install. Has anyone out there installed this front end on a Dyna or new bike?

What do I need for spacers? 1 on top and 1 on the bottom? It seems like 1 on top and 1 on bottom and the fork stop hits the tree, not sure why. Any help with pictures woudl be awesome!

 

hey zrunnerz great looking bike, i have an 06 dyna and i just purchased the same ultima front end and am going to install this weekend, just was wondering how your install ended up going, did you have any problems with the neck size? i had read that if your neck was bigger than 7" this front end would not work (after i bought it haha) and i think that ours are 7 1/4"....any help would be great man, thanks!

 

It worked no problem. I did have to buy an internal fork stop, but other then that it was no problem. You need a spacer on top and a internal fork stop on bottom and you need the kind which replaces the race with one with a tab. Good luck!

 

awesome, thanks for the help i have the front end on and everything ready to go now other than a brake, i bought a 84-99 softail brake but i guess it doesnt fit, was told i need a 4 piston brake, whatd you go with? thanks again for the help! ill post pics when im all done

 

Can you tell me where the spacer goes at the top as you mentioned. My head stem bolt appears to be 1/4 to long?? The kit cam with various size spaces but I can’t work out how these work?? 2019 58mm inverted Ultima front end going on a 07 fatboy. Help please. Cheers Dave
