I bought a set this winter. I don't remember the thermal grade, but I do know they advertise waterproof, and they are insulated. I had no problems with my hands this week at 39 degrees and gusty winds. The gauntlet really keeps the wind out of your sleeves.

They are very flexible considering the above.
