I started in 73. Went from 2001 to 2014 without a bike, but am back on again now.
|
Got my bike Sept 2013 but owing to our long winters and overseas work, I only have about 5 months in the saddle.
|
Bought a Yamaha 550 the year I graduated high school '81, been riding ever since. Can't wait for the weather to get better so I can start the next season of riding.
|
A dozen years for me. Harleys since 2010 though.

44 years continuous. Got my first street bike in 1971, haven`t been without one since.
One crash, car turned left at intersection (classic scenario) in 1972, since then I haven`t even had a bike knocked over in a parking lot...knock wood.... I have done all the mechanical work on every bike I have owned. |

Continuously? The most I've ever ridden in a day was 1500 miles. Other than that, I usually take a few hours, or a day or two, or a winter between rides.
Ever try to do an oil change while you're riding? The people on the freeway behind you get all bent out of shape. |
