Corbin Seats.....

Apparently not all Corbin seats are/were built the same. Mine, which I bought more than 10 years ago, is all leather.
To keep the leather, go way back and find yourself a tin of Saddlesoap. That stuff has been around for years.

I think Corbin makes both all leather and leather/vinyl combo. From their web site:
"Genuine leather will also adapt with the foam shape to support the personalized fit after break in. This is why we recommend using vinyl instead of leather in the SIDE areas of your seat. Vinyl will "spring back" instead of stretching, so it will support the foam shape and stay looking new."

Yep, I've owned and enjoyed two Corbin seats. they've both been genuine leather in the seating area and synthetic on the side panels and other non-seat areas. my first one was a genuine cow hide leather. On my second one I splurged and ordered a Genuine Stingray Leather seat, over $750 by the time it got to Maui, and worth every cent - Fantastic... They make an excellent product but their customer service could use an overhaul. Slow at best, non-existent at times. as always YMMV.
