Default Standard warranty

I will ask the dealer when I pick up the bike, but before I do can anyone tell me? I will be doing a stage 1. I want to do it myself. Will doing that void my standard warranty that comes with the bike, did anyone who has done the same have any problems with a warranty being honored?

One simple word = no. Unless you do something in the process to cause motor failure...

If you have a problem with your bike, and said problem was caused by Non Harley (or whatever you want to call it) parts or work, then Harley doesn't have to pay for the repair. Simply installing aftermarket parts won't in and of itself VOID your warranty. But obviously Harley shouldnt have to pay to repair those parts or for any collateral damage they might cause. But they have to prove the non Harley parts were responsible for the damage.
Dealers don't determine what is and what is not covered under the warranty- Harley Corporate does. The dealer is just acting as an agent between the consumer and HD.
The dealer could certainly chose to fix things and not charge the customer if they wanted- they either will or will not get reimbursed from HD for the work.

I've had a dealer install Screamin' Eagle parts then refused to fix anything under warranty. The MoCo didn't see anything wrong with their practices either.

No Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act outside of the USA.

Thanks guys. Yeah I guess its a slippery slope. probably an easy way out for them if there is a warranty problem to try and blame the aftermarket set up, even if its not.
