Hi just have a quick question.
I really like the look of the chrome engine transmission interface kit but the Harley part number 66545-07 says it only fits 2007-2008
I have a 2009 but from what I can tell the set ups are the same
Has anyone used this on there 2009 or know why it wouldn't fit a 2009?

It won't work- there's a big notch in it because the pipe coming off the Y on the brake side on the earlier exhaust doesn't leave clearance for the cover. I like it too but had to take mine off when I put true duals on.

 

Oh ok yeah I have true duals on mine too so I guess it won't work

The part number you are looking for is 6950.

 

Kury is the only route I've found for non-Y pipe setups, but they have different designs for different true-dual types so check carefully. Some are for cross-under frame type duals and some are for the type where the rear exhaust goes directly from the jug to the left side of the bike and then down.
