Used 96 motor - what's it worth?
Hold on the "whatever you can get" bs posts please.
I'm thinking about putting in a 120r. My '06 96 runs great, no issues, etc. So i'm thinking of selling it to offset the costs.
Ideas on the asking price?

How many miles on the motor in question would have a bearing on what it may be worth.

That sounds like a good trade for you. A 120R and a 6 speed in the old bike. That would be sweet.

Just based on what I've seen and heard, you will be lucky to get $1500. More likely in the $1000 range.
