Default How much should be this 2002 custom bike

With 3000 miles. Built on a softail type daytec frame with a S&S 107 motor, S&S carbs. It has custom paint, powder coating, 17 and 21" 200 rear wheels. Bike was featured in 2002 V-twin motorcycle magazine. I really dig this bike and want an idea as to how much should this be worth(ballpark).

That's my professional opinion, BTW... FWIW.

Cool

Custom bikes are like custom rifles. If it fits what you want, the sky's the limit. If not, it's worth nothing or close to it.

Many of these are unusable and unrideable for practical purposes.

I think a lot of these guys commenting are a little biased and lack the ability to be objective.

Go to eBay, search by the catagory "custom built motorcycles", then on the left check the sold listings box. You will find dozens of similar custom bikes going for much more than $6K, 7K, or 8K

Here I'll do the search for you.

What is the KBB or NADA book value on a 2002 Softail?

Unless all the "stock take off parts" are included, there is no reason to pay extra for extras.

$3.50
That's tree-fiddy in layman's terms.

Like most things, it's worth what somebody will pay for it. You didn't say if there's an asking price, or "make an offer", or whatever.
Try doing some research, decide what you're willing to pay for it and see if you can buy it around your price.
Saw an ad on CL a couple of weeks ago for an FXD that should bring around $7k, but the asking price was $14k. I was curious so I looked at the description and it had a $7k paint job. Ain't gonna happen.
