I'm currently working in Michigan but I'll be retiring and going back home to Florida soon and once there I'm hoping for 12 good months a year

In Michigan I'd say we get 6 - 7 months of 'good', of course some months are better than others though. I winterize and put the bikes away when the first real cold snap hits and the morons break out the salt trucks, the bikes won't come back out of the garage again until that first good spring rain washes the salt off the roads. Last year the bikes went in to the garage the second week of November but didn't come out again until the second week of April when it finally rained... sunny and 80 degrees all year 'round would suit me fine

I live in Arkansas. It all depends on what the winters do here. The last couple of years we have had a few ice storms and some snow. We probably only had 8-9 months that you could ride. Other years you can manage 12 months out of the year. Alot depends on the temps you will or will not ride in. In the summer I have been out when the air is dead still and temps are hovering around 115 with 70%+ humidity. In the Winter I have been out in the mid to upper 20s. Most of the time layering clothes will make riding conditions bearable with a quick add or remove of a layer.

Fall here during the changing of the colors is a fantstic time to relax, ride and reset yourself. It is absolutely beutiful all of the different colors on the trees as the leaves turn. We also have some great roads. The design concept back in the day wasn't the quickest point from A to B. The roads just kind of meander back and forth from one place to the next.

With all the Gerbings gear that can be had for a motorcycle, 12 months as long as the roads are clear. Love living in the foothills of NC!!!!

9 months here in UK, then 3 months in Spain.

BUT I want to move to Florida so I don't have to spend a week riding across Europe and 4 days on two different boats.

I ride from after the third good rain in springtime till the salt flys in the fall. Started in April this year, quit in October last year. I rode several years right up to Thanksgiving give or take a week.

I'm not talking about the months that you have to wear 20 lbs of clothes a face mask, winter gloves, and keep you trips under 30 mins because of the cold.
Just good riding weather when you really in joy the riding.
